Claudia Alcañiz «hits» hard, proclaiming herself Spain Forms Champion

On the 4th of December, our student Claudia Alcañiz Aparici participated in the VII Spanish Championship of Olympic Boxing Forms in School Age, organized by the Spanish Boxing Federation in Villamuriel del Cerrato (Palencia), specifically in the Adolfo Nicolás Pavilion.

Our beautiful boxer wanted to share with Franc Corbí her great achievement, the medals obtained by becoming the Spanish Champion in the Female Cadet category. This modality consists of a combination of mittens, shadow and rope, in which she performs the exercises for 40 seconds each, passing through judges who are in charge of scoring.

Claudia Alcañiz Aparici was accompanied by her coach and father Toni Alcañiz, who advises, guides and motivates her. Both work as a great duo, feeling huge admiration and pride for each other.

Claudia has already been selected this summer by the Spanish Boxing National Team to go to the PNTD (National Plan of Sport Technification) in the High Performance Centre of Los Alcazares in Murcia, where she was concentrated for a week with the coaches of the National Team and the best boxing athletes in Spain.

Claudia’s great dream is to become the first Spanish Olympic woman in Boxing, and from the British School Alzira-Xàtiva-Gandia Group we invite her to never give up what makes her happy. With hard work, perseverance and enthusiasm, she will be able to achieve everything she sets her mind to.

Congratulations Claudia, we couldn’t be prouder of you!!!
