After years of negotiation with the British and Spanish governments, a bilateral agreement has been reached on university access for British schools to Spanish universities, which has been signed by the Minister of Education and the Minister of Universities together with the British Ambassador to Spain.
This agreement benefits 70,000 students from 80 schools that follow the British system and guarantees that they can continue to benefit from the Direct Access Act that all European countries have, as well as access by “Via Homologation”. A double route, and therefore a double option that will accommodate the profile of each student in our schools to optimise the result of the cut-off mark and a guarantee for the future of maintaining direct access for our students to public and private Spanish universities and to international universities in the UK, Europe and the USA (adapting to the minimum criteria established by each university).
