Chinese Gourmet Day

As we do every month, we have celebrated our Gourmet Day, where students have the opportunity to try new flavours and textures from other cultures.

On this occasion we have enjoyed the flavours of China.

Chinese cuisine is one of the oldest in the world and as such is full of experiences with a culinary art based on the creative way of preparing food. It is balanced and healthy with delicious ingredients. This culture is characterised by the fact that when preparing their recipes, they use different types of sauce and many types of pasta, trying to find harmony with respect to flavours such as salty, sweet, sour, spicy and bitter.

On this occasion, we were able to taste a menu consisting of:

  • Salad with white sweet and sour dressing.
  • Tagliatelle with prawns and vegetables
  • Sweet and sour pork

The best way to begin to get to know a culture is through its gastronomy…
