Claudia Alcañiz “hit” hard proclaiming herself Spanish Champion of Forms

On December 4, our student Claudia Alcañiz Aparici participated in the VII Spanish Championship of Olympic Boxing Forms for School Ages, organized by the Spanish Boxing Federation in Villamuriel del Cerrato (Palencia), specifically in the Adolfo Nicolás Pavilion.

Our beautiful boxer wanted to share with Franc Corbí her great achievement, the medals obtained by becoming Spanish Champion of Forms, Female Cadet category. This modality consists of a combination of mittens, shadow and jump rope, in which she executes the exercises for 40 seconds each, going through some judges who are in charge of scoring.

Claudia Alcañiz Aparici was accompanied by her coach and father Toni Alcañiz, who advises, guides and motivates her. Both work as a great pair, feeling great admiration and pride for each other.

Claudia was already selected this summer by the Spanish Boxing Team to go to the PNTD (National Sports Technification Plan) at the Los Alcázares High Performance Center in Murcia, spending a week there with the team’s technicians and the best Spanish boxing athletes.

Claudia’s great dream is to become the first Spanish Olympic woman in Boxing, and from the British School Alzira-Xàtiva-Gandia Group we invite her to never give up what makes her happy. With hard work, perseverance and enthusiasm, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Congratulations Claudia, we couldn’t be more proud of you!!
