On March 2nd, our champion Daniel Sanjuan, a Year 6 student at BSA, took part in the Open of Spain in Jiu-Jitsu Combat. The event was held in Onda (Castellón), where hundreds of athletes from all over Spain competed for victory.
Daniel, hailed as “one of the great promises of Spanish Jiu-Jitsu Combat”, emerged victorious in his category, thus consolidating the belief that he has much to contribute to this sport which, according to his family, provides him with emotional stability, empathy, respect for his opponents and teammates, discipline, and a great desire to learn and grow.
