The school’s Nursing Department recently delivered a “First Aid” and CPR workshop for Year 9 students. This theoretical and practical training session taught students how to identify different types of accidents, understand the chain of survival, correctly use the emergency number 112, apply the recovery position, perform CPR, and respond effectively to choking incidents.
Having knowledge of First Aid is crucial for knowing how to act in emergency situations. We believe it is essential for our students to have the necessary information to handle such scenarios and provide assistance until professional medical help arrives.
