At British School Alzira, our Year 1 and Year 2 students had the privilege of welcoming Tatiana Kholopenko, mother of one of our Pre-Nursery pupils and a talented illustrator of the books “Everybody Gets Angry!” and “A Day Full of Achievements”.
These stories are designed to help children understand and manage their emotions effectively. “Everybody Gets Angry!” is an activity-filled book that teaches children how to identify, understand, express, and cope with feelings of anger. Meanwhile, “A Day Full of Achievements” helps children develop a positive self-image and recognise their daily accomplishments, strengthening their self-esteem and confidence.
During her visit, Tatiana shared her illustrations with the children and read these delightful stories with them, encouraging their imagination and love for reading. She also generously donated copies to our school library, allowing all our students to enjoy and learn from these valuable stories.
We are deeply grateful to Tatiana for her time and for enriching our students’ emotional education through her art and creativity. Thank you for inspiring us!
