Founder’s Day at British School Gandia – A Saturday in Family

We are delighted to be able to show you what a wonderful day we had at British School Gandia last Saturday 28th May. The “Founder’s Day (a Saturday with the family)” was a great success and was attended by many pupils and their families from Pre-Nursery to Year 7, as well as future British families and others interested in our educational project.

This event has always been a special day to enjoy together as a family, and as the name suggests, we named it “Founder’s Day” in honour of our Founder, Doña Amparo. We started this initiative in 2018, with the aim of making it a very happy day, in which to enjoy together various activities that we prepared with great enthusiasm for parents and children, and all the family members who wish to accompany them (grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins…).

The day began at 10:00h. and ended at approximately 13:30h, family and students were able to enjoy activities such as: Archery, climbing wall, zumba, face painting, arts and crafts, go-karting, etc.

We served a buffet lunch for the attendees, in which there was a great gastronomic offer, fusing recipes of sea, mountain and “healthy food” (healthy food), as well as special elaborations of “Halal” and Vegan / Vegetarian food. Lunch was served outdoors in the central area of the activities, as the weather was beautiful and the day was wonderful.

A fabulous day that we all enjoyed very much!!!

Thank you so dearly for being part of it!!
