The jury of the 14th Onda Cero and Europa FM La Ribera School Drawing Competition has already chosen the winners of this year’s edition. After a meal at the Attic restaurant, the 15 members of the jury met in front of the 70 pre-selected drawings and decided with their votes which ones deserved each of the prizes. This year the competition was fierce as, in the previous phase, more than 2,500 drawings were submitted from all the schools in the city.
Franc Corbí & Déborah García were accompanied by the regional director of Onda Cero, Antonio Domínguez, the mayor of Alzira, Diego Gómez, the councillors for Culture and Fiestas, Alfred Aranda and Xavi Pérez, as well as various sponsors and staff from the Alzira and Valencia broadcasters.
This year’s slogan was “Alzira, escenari de cultura” (Alzira, stage for culture) to celebrate Alzira’s cultural capital status in the Valencian Community 2022. A magnificent competition in which pupils from British School Alzira took part as contestants, some of them reaching the semi-final.
