María Guerrero and David Cebolla, 1st Sixth Former students from British School Alzira, have shone in the XXX Mathematics Olympics which took place in Valencia, an educational project which promotes the ability to calculate and mathematical reasoning from a playful point of view.
David Cebolla won first place among all the first year sixth form students who competed for other schools, and María Guerrero came third.
The awards ceremony for the Maths Olympics took place on Friday 6th May, and our two students not only got the pride of being in these fantastic places, with their respective trophies, but they were also awarded with a Xiaomi 5 Smart bracelet and a suitcase from El Corte Inglés.
