Mexican Gourmet Day

Following our route around the flavours of the world, this month we are taking a look at a gastronomy recognised worldwide for its richness of flavours, colours and aromas: Mexican gastronomy.

Within this we find regional diversity, as each state of Mexico has its own culinary identity, based on local ingredients and historical traditions.

Corn, avocado and chillies form the basis of this cuisine, and spiciness is its hallmark. Among the most famous dishes are tacos, mole and Mexican desserts, which are a perfect end to a meal full of intense flavours.

Today we were able to taste:

  • Pico de Gallo (pepper, tomato and onion)
  • Mexican rice
  • Beef burrito
  • Vanilla cream caramel
