Teachers from different British Schools in the Comunidad Valenciana region and even some other nationwide locations were welcomed to the annual NABSS National Training held at BSA for the second year running.
On this occasion, the training workshop “How to improve teaching and learning and raise pupil achievement through effective feedback” will cover topics such as: understanding how to implement the six key EEF recommendations for effective teacher feedback to improve pupil learning in primary schools, recognising the principles of effective feedback, including written and verbal practice, and the importance of designing a school feedback policy or how to identify and overcome barriers that can hinder effective communication between teachers and pupils.
This workshop will provide school principals, teachers and teaching assistants with practical guidance on assessment and feedback to facilitate pupil progress and raise pupil achievement.
The workshop is delivered by Victoria Homewood, headteacher of three leading independent schools in the UK, with a proven track record in creating outstanding learning environments for children and a culture of high achievement among staff. Victoria has over 25 years’ experience in teaching, management, training and educational consultancy, and is well placed to support schools and empower teachers to deliver teaching excellence.
