We carry out psychopedagogical assessments to identify students' educational needs, both cognitive and emotional, enabling early and effective intervention.

Personalised attention and advice: Continuous follow-up of each student, analysing their individual profile to offer advice tailored to their situation, interests and goals.

Early guidance from Secondary: Preparation begins in Secondary with informative talks introducing the university world and the job market.

Comprehensive support in university access: Support and tutoring in every procedure (pre-registration, admission, documentation), both national and international.

Support in decision-making: In Secondary and Sixth Form, guidance on the pathway and choice of subjects to design their optimal itinerary.

What we do

Objectives of the department

We support students, teachers and families to improve the educational process and the all-round development of students, promoting a balance between their cognitive, emotional and social growth. Tap each objective to learn more:

Identify specific needs (difficulties or talents); develop and coordinate tailored intervention programmes.

Psychopedagogical diagnoses (abilities, skills, interests, difficulties); continuous monitoring of academic, emotional and social progress.

Guide decisions about the academic and professional future (exploring options, informed decisions); self-knowledge tools for a sound vocational choice.

Detect language, learning, emotional or behavioural problems; preventive programmes (emotional management, conflict resolution, bullying).

Department of Emotional & Mental Health
Prevention & Intervention

The British School Group (Alzira, Xàtiva & Gandia) is the first school in Spain to create a “Department of Emotional and Mental Health: Prevention and Intervention”. Aimed at teachers, parents and students, it runs workshops and specific sessions throughout the year, both in person and online. Its work is built on four pillars:
