Solidarity Day: Thanks from “Blue Eyes”

Last December we celebrated our Solidarity Day, in which we carried out various activities to raise funds for different solidarity initiatives.

One of these initiatives was the opportunity to collaborate with the ONG Blue Eyes “The Charity volunteer for children”, involving all our Educational Community.

The ONG Blue Eyes is a small charity in Vietnam that is dedicated to defend and protect the rights of children and women of their community and any other ethnic minority. It raises money to buy them winter clothes, books, food and many other necessities. They have also built a school for children from 0 to 5 years old and have formed a group of volunteer teachers who teach the children English, maths, etc.

This year, thanks to donations received, among others, from the entire British School Alzira, Xàtiva & Gandia Group Community, they are building a bridge that will allow the ethnic minorities who live near the Pho stream to continue going to work and the younger children to attend school during the rainy season.

You can follow the process of building the bridge and other solidarity actions carried out by this ONG on their Facebook page:
