After the success of the last school year, this year we have once again signed a collaboration agreement with the CaixaBank Foundation to undertake this wonderful initiative, in collaboration with Save the Children and the Red Cross: The project consists of children in poverty writing a letter in their own handwriting with their wish materialised in the form of a gift. This gift can be provided by the families of the
British families who wish to do so, so that they can make them happy by receiving their only Christmas present, their “dream”.
We have placed three Wishing Trees in the Reception of each school, and on each tree we have hung 10 balls; each ball corresponds to a letter from a child, with their wish.
Pupils who wish to do so can write a letter to the child in “their ball”, expressing their best wishes.
We would like to share with you the attached video, in which Save The Children (one of the participating organisations) shows us how their children wrote the letters in their summer workshops.
We hope this initiative excites them as much as it does us.
