Year 2 have been studying the topic of “The Great Fire of London”, and have had a very exciting day dedicated to this TOPIC.
We celebrated this day by enjoying the following activities:
- ART/DT – they drew a picture of a fire and baked crispy rice cakes.
- Music – learned the traditional song “London’s burning”.
- General – we recreated the Great Fire of London with the models they made at home and then did creative writing inspired by the fire.
The pupils came dressed up as Victorian children to further mimic TOPIC.
We hope they really enjoyed the experience!
