This term, Year 5 pupils are learning a lot about space, as part of their Topic “Out of this world”, and so they have had a very exciting day dedicated to exploring this topic in depth.
During this day they were able to enjoy the following activities, amongst others, related to Space:
- Literacy – writing pretending to be a space astronaut.
- Maths – practising “space maths”.
- Art/DT – design and create an alien.
- Geography – observing the different phases of the moon.
Students came dressed up as Space related themes: alien, planet, scientist, astronaut, NASA, or brought in an object related to this theme.
We hope everyone enjoyed the day!
