This week, our Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 students from BSA and BSX have attended a workshop on Vocational Guidance, given by Estefanía García Silva, Training Advisor from Camilo José Cela University (Madrid).
The guidance workshop focused on the IKIGAI concept:
Ikigai is a Japanese concept that has no literal translation, but can be defined as “the reason for living” or “the reason for being”.
Choosing the profession to which your children are going to dedicate a large part of their life and energy is part of this process, and through this workshop, we help them to “figure it out”, in a participative way, focusing on 4 pillars:
– What you love
– What the world needs
– What you are good at
– What you can be paid for
We hope that all our students have benefited from this event.
