Year 13 students take part in The 20/30 Challenge

On 24th November our Year 13 students from BSA and BSX took part in the 20/30 Challenge organised by the European University together with ACADE.

This year around 650 students from 23 associated public schools from all over Spain took part in this challenge, which this year celebrated its fifth edition.

The aim of this activity is for students to solve global problems set out in the UN’s Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development Goals. The young people must come up with feasible creative solutions and work in teams, and are guided by university coaches who travel to the schools. The presentation of the projects takes place virtually in front of a panel of university professionals.

The university representatives reminded the students to work collaboratively and respectfully: “Thanks to your training, your experience, your talent, you have the tools to tackle the most prevalent challenges. However, the ability to resolve conflicts never comes from one person alone. Our progress depends on collective action and collective ingenuity. That’s why you need to draw on the ideas of others, but also have the confidence to respectfully debate with your peers to find solutions.

This Challenge was a great experience for our students who did a great job.

Congratulations!
