Year 4 Assembly held with students’ families

A Key Stage 2 assembly is held once a week at school, with each class taking turns to lead it. This means that every group has the opportunity to lead the assembly at least once per school year.

The students eagerly anticipate their weekly assembly, as it provides a chance to discuss what they have learned. It is truly delightful to hear them explain all they have accomplished in the classroom.

On this occasion it was our Year 4 students’ turn to lead the assembly, and they had special guests: their families!

Their topic was “The Romans,” and they all became Romans for the day, dressing up and explaining what they had been learning about this subject to all in attendance. Their enthusiasm and effort ensured that the audience not only had a great time but also learned a great deal about this civilisation.

Congratulations to all for your hard work!
