During the first term of this academic year, our Year 5 students at BSG wrote a letter to the famous author, Sir David Walliams.
David Walliams is a British actor, comedian, writer, talent show judge, and presenter, known for his involvement in the programme Little Britain.
Walliams is also a children’s book author. He has sold over 25 million copies of his books, which have been translated into 53 languages. He has been described as the “fastest-growing children’s author in the UK” and his literary style has been compared to that of Roald Dahl.
This term, our students received his response with great excitement, and he also sent them two of his signed books for their enjoyment!
