Primary Education
In the British system, Primary Education begins in Year 1 (age 5), and it is during this year that students begin to speak correctly, read and work with numbers. At this stage we apply the Cross-Curricular methodology: a single theme is used to approach the subjects of the curriculum, so that students gain knowledge, develop skills and achieve understanding across the different subjects while focusing on one theme. In this way they make connections naturally and practically, and it helps them to think creatively. In Primary, every classroom has a lead teacher with extensive, proven experience in the British system. As each student is different and not everyone reaches the objectives in the same way, those who need help in a particular area have access to personalised reinforcement classes (Academy).
