Our Year 2 students are studying various aspects of India this term as part of the topic “A Touch of Spice” and they had a very exciting topic day to explore the theme in depth.
They enjoyed special activities related to India, such as reading and exploring popular Indian folktales like “The Jungle Book”, making and decorating Diwali lamps, experimenting with different spices to make tea, playing cricket, and enjoying traditional Bollywood dancing.
They also enjoyed dressing up in Indian attire and had a great time learning more about this wonderful culture.
