What do we work on in this cycle?
A comfortable and warm environment. Our experienced staff receives children every day in a welcoming environment, encouraging the child to arrive at school happy and eager to learn.
English from day one. Our experience shows that this age is perfect for accepting a second language, and that is why very soon they begin to participate in the teacher’s songs, stories and rhymes.
Build self-esteem. Students engage in activities designed to develop their physical, social, and learning skills. The happier they are and the less afraid they are of making mistakes, the better they will learn.

What do we work on in this cycle?
Positive attitudes towards learning . These two years are essential to build the foundation for the future development of the student.
Language and Mathematics . Language and Literacy covers all aspects of language, with special emphasis on the ability to speak and listen, in addition, we know that early literacy or Literacy is essential at these ages. Mathematics learning is achieved through practical activities such as songs, games and role-play situations.
Knowledge and understanding of the environment . It involves learning about the natural and human world, as well as their own environment. They are encouraged to ask questions and brainstorm ideas, helping them make sense of their own world. In addition, we know that new technologies currently play a fundamental role, for that reason, from an early age we teach them to make good use of them.

What do we work on in this cycle?
In Key Stage 1 (Year 1, Year 2) and Key Stage 2 (Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6) the Curriculum is composed of 10 subjects, which are separated into three core subjects (English, mathematics and science) and seven additional subjects (physical education, art and design, computer science, design and technology, geography, history and music).
In addition, in Primary our Schools Spanish, Valencian and Knowledge of the Environment / Social Sciences are also taught.
The PSHE subject, consisting of the personal, social and emotional development of students, is also worked on in depth.

What do we work on in this cycle?
Secondary Education in the British School Group offers students the possibility of following an intense and balanced study program that allows several options when it comes to learning, training as students, as adults in the future and developing a university career .
Our program is made up of two cycles in Secondary : Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4 in which five courses are taken in total (from Year 7 to Year 11) and another in Bachiller (Key Stage 5: Year 12 and 13).
In Secondary it is the specialist teachers who teach the specific subjects, carrying out at all stages group reduction in the core subjects to offer quality teaching.
Secondary students have access to the ACADEMY student support program.

What do we work on in this cycle?
In the British National Curriculum, the Baccalaureate cycle is called “ Sixth Form ”, and covers the courses of Year 12 and Year 13.
During this educational stage, students take the official A Levels exams, which will allow them to obtain the British Baccalaureate Certificate and the Spanish Baccalaureate Certificate, since we are an Official Examination Center.
The full program in Baccalaureate includes the study of AS/A2 subjects along with subjects from the Spanish Curriculum. AS exams are held in Year 12. A2 exams are held in Year 12. 13.
AS + A2 = A LEVEL
This offers the possibility of accessing any University in Spain (Public or Private), the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe and the rest of the world.
In addition, at the British School Alzira, Xàtiva and Gandia we haveagreements for our students to obtain scholarships in other countries (Denmark, Holland, United Kingdom…), as well as access agreements to the most prestigious private universities in the country, or to the ARA groups (High Academic Performance Groups in the Spanish Public University).
Students can choose from a wide variety of subjects from the British Curriculum, at the same time as subjects from the Spanish Curriculum are prepared for PCE.
The Sixth Form offered in our BSA-BSX-BSG centers is considered one of the best and most prestigious in Europe.
Our educational centers have a university orientation service for our students, working on this area during all the Secondary Education and Baccalaureate courses.
Facilities of British School Alzira
The BSA school campus has 64,000 m2 with 2 main buildings of 5,500 and 1,500 m2 respectively. The largest building is reserved for Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education, while the second is for Bachiller students. Both buildings have the latest digital technology in classrooms and offices.
At the British School Alzira we believe in the importance of maintaining a balance between mind and body, and for this reason we have first class sports facilities:
