The history of British School Alzira-Xàtiva-Gandia is a testimony of vision, commitment and an educational project born from the heart. A project that, from the beginning, has wanted to be more than a school: a home of learning, growth and values that will always accompany all our students.
Opening of British School Alzira
It was 1997 when Mrs. Amparo Ramón Martínez, with a great passion for teaching and convinced that every child deserves to receive a quality education in a stimulating environment, started the first school of the group: the British School Alzira. It was here that the values were sown which today continue to be the pillars on which all our daily work is based: academic excellence, personalized treatment, linguistic immersion and human closeness (both with the students and with the families and professionals who make up our British family).
Opening of British School Xátiva
In 2009, together with her husband and son, Doña Amparo expanded the educational bet with the creation of British School Xàtiva, with the same illusion of offering a modern British system and individualized attention, extended and offered its educational offer to new areas.
Start of the British School Gandia
Later, in 2015, British School Gandia was born, as the culmination of the dream of bringing the excellence of the British School Group to the Safor and its surroundings, responding to a growing demand of families committed to a high level international education. A modern campus, first class facilities, diversity of nationalities and a consolidated pedagogical model are the features that mark its distinctive profile.
News: development and innovation
Today, British School Alzira and British School Xàtiva have all educational stages, from Pre-Nursery to Year 13, while British School Gandia continues to grow as the student body that started this project does, offering this academic year 2025-26 all educational levels from Pre-Nursery to Year 11 (completion of Secondary). Next school year, the British School Gandia will open the Baccalaureate Cycle, in its recently inaugurated new plant.
Evolution and projection
What began as a family school with few students has grown to become a national educational reference, both for its complete British model – from 0 to 18 years of age – as well as for itspedagogical innovation, its quality facilities and its commitment to comprehensive education.
Led by Franc Corbí, today the group has more than 1,200 students of many nationalities, as well as modern infrastructures and facilities, spaces designed also with educational neuroscience criteria, which invite learning through experience and discovery.
