BSA at the UPV Physics Olympiad

Like every school year, the Polytechnic University of Valencia organizes a Physics Olympiad, with the following objectives:

  • To stimulate the study of physics among young people.
  • Reward effort and academic excellence.
  • Disseminate physics and serve as a meeting point between secondary education and the University.

In addition to a competition, the Physics Olympiad is also a training experience.

After an initial selection test, a team of twenty students is formed and receives a 72-hour physics course.

Once finished, the local test is carried out to choose the 6 classified who, after 12 hours of additional training, can participate in the national, Ibero-American and international phases.

We are pleased to inform you that, out of 100 students, the 3 BSA candidates presented to the Physics Olympiad have been shortlisted in the First Phase!!!!!!

Caleb, Noah and Álvaro will attend the Polytechnic University for 12 weeks to participate in the preparation courses for the next PHASE (phase 2), of which, of the 20 participating students, only 6 will go on to the National phase.

Congratulations guys, and good luck for the Olympiad!!!!!
