National Poetry Day takes place on the first Thursday in October in the UK, and is an annual celebration that inspires people to enjoy, discover and share poetry. Each year there is a different theme, and in 2019 the theme has been “The Truth”. At BSA, teachers from different subjects have taken advantage of this event to explore poetry and the theme of “The Truth” in their respective subjects.
