On Monday 13th February we held an Open Day at British School Gandia.
The purpose of this arrangement is to give parents and others they choose to invite the opportunity to share an “ordinary” school day with us. Open Days are a chance to experience your child’s daily routine first hand, observe the school’s educational methods, enjoy the facilities (classrooms, library, dining hall, sports facilities, laboratories, Nurse service, extra-curricular activities, Food Truck…), see how technology is used in lessons, witness teacher-pupil interaction, etc.
This will allow you to gain an improved understanding of our educational project. We want you to experience the British Curriculum first hand.
Not only would we like you to observe your child’s class, but we also believe it will be beneficial to visit other classes in order to have an improved idea of student progression across different age groups.
With this in mind, we have decided to give parents more “freedom” when choosing which areas of the school to visit.
Instead of providing personalised programmes, you will be given a general timetable of available lessons.
All of us at British School Gandia are delighted to have shared a school day with all of you and your children.
