Small actions that can save lives: First Aid Workshop for Year 7

Year 7 pupils took part in a first aid workshop, where they began to learn essential skills for dealing with everyday situations.

During the session, they learnt how to clean and treat wounds, deal with burns, apply bandages, control bleeding, identify injuries and know how to react in the event of choking.

This workshop marks the first step in their first aid training, which will continue in the following years with more advanced topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of a defibrillator.

Because education is also about preparing for life, equipping our pupils with the tools that enable them to act safely, responsibly and confidently when it matters most.
