On Saturday 17th January, staff from our three Schools gathered in the incomparable setting of the Huerto de Santa María (El Puig) to enjoy a team-building day with a clear objective: to strengthen bonds, encourage collaboration and reinforce the sense of belonging to the British School Alzira-Xàtiva-Gandia community.
Through a theoretical-practical approach, we reflected on our purpose as educators, drawing inspiration from Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle and Meyer and Allen’s theory of organisational commitment. Analysing the why, how and what of our daily work allowed us to reaffirm the values that unite us and give meaning to our educational project.
Activities such as building towers and playing the game ‘If I were Franc’ promoted communication, trust and teamwork, reminding us that together we can achieve more. It was an enriching experience that reinforced our shared identity and our commitment to quality education.
