Our Secondary students from BSA Claudia and Marina Ferragud, Óscar and Sergi Aznar, and Clara Eslava recently participated in an EDEM TEEN session, organised by the EDEM Business and Management School in Valencia.
During the session, students were challenged to address a real-world societal issue by creating a fictional company and developing a product to solve the problem.
Our students chose to tackle the decline in reading habits. They conducted a comprehensive market, financial, and marketing analysis and designed their product: a machine similar to self-service kiosks in fast-food restaurants. However, their version provided access to a custom-built app that offered reading-based rewards, book reviews, personalised recommendations, and even a virtual book club where users could share their thoughts with others interested in the same book.
After presenting their idea to the audience, who were fully convinced by their arguments and proposal, our students won the award for the best idea!
Congratulations, entrepreneurs! We are incredibly proud of you!
