Our Year 3 students enjoyed a unique experience on their trip to “Cova del Parpalló”, one of the most important Upper Palaeolithic sites and a real treasure of our archaeological heritage.
On this trip, they were able to discover rock art plaques, learn how the first artists of humanity worked and better understand everything they had learnt in their topic for the term: ‘Meet the Flintstones’.
The day included a guided tour of the cave, interactive videos and an educational workshop where they explored archaeological methodology, connecting in a real and meaningful way with our most distant past.
A unique educational experience that combines history, culture and discovery.
