On land is not my place

Today, Tuesday, February 28, 2017, Year 5 and Year 6 (4th and 5th grade) students attended a talk at school, entitled “On land is not my place”, given by Carlos Moreno, Local Police.

The Department of Education and Childhood and the Local Police have organized these talks to make everyone in the municipality aware of the importance of taking care of our city. The objective of this campaign is to make the younger population aware of the importance of collecting animal droppings to avoid health, hygiene, aesthetic and safety problems. In this sense, during the talk aspects have been discussed that have ranged from respect for others, to the responsibility of having a pet, through coexistence, health, the environment and hygiene.

The talk has turned out to be very instructive, as well as entertaining. The students have been very attentive and have held a subsequent discussion that has been very revealing… By educating our young people well, we will obtain responsible adults.
