Relaxation workshop for Year 6 students

On Friday, April 12th, our Year 6 students participated in a workshop on relaxation and stress management led by the school nurse, in collaboration with the School’s Department of Psychology.

During the workshop, students learned to identify and express situations that make them nervous and situations that help them relax.

There are various contexts that can be sources of stress for a child, such as taking an exam, presenting a project in public, receiving a poor grade, a disagreement with a classmate or sibling, teasing, witnessing an argument, etc.

Recent studies conducted in Spain indicate that stress levels are very high among children and adolescents from the age of 8. Therefore, the workshop also aims to provide tips and tools that we share with you so that you can help your children to continue practicing and learning at home.
