To celebrate our 2024 Christmas Solidarity Campaign, named Solidarity Day, we once again incorporated new initiatives to make this day truly meaningful.
Firstly, the BSA, BSX, and BSG schools continued their collaboration with “La Casa de la Caridad de Valencia” by collecting non-perishable food items, cleaning products, hygiene supplies, and more. The contributions brought in by our students exceeded all expectations.
Additionally, students from all three schools who wanted to participate created Christmas Decorations, which were sold by members of the Student Council across all educational stages. This gave students who wished to contribute to the solidarity project the chance to purchase decorations and make a difference.
The funds raised on this day will be entirely donated to the “ÁFRICA” project, a cause the school has chosen to support. This initiative, based in Tanzania, aims to help children in a village where many struggle even to survive. Initially, the primary goal is to ensure these children can attend school. However, given their circumstances, the project also seeks to provide food, clothing, and school supplies.
Moreover, Year 13 students, who were also holding their Cakes Day fundraiser for their end-of-year trip, generously donated some of their cakes to contribute to the “ÁFRICA” project.
We are thrilled with the overwhelming participation of our families and students in this special day. We cannot thank everyone enough for their incredible generosity and big-hearted contributions.
