In Year 5, our students have already started to study the topic of Ancient Greece and this week they have had a very exciting day dedicated to exploring this topic.
The students have enjoyed many activities related to Ancient Greece in their different lessons:
- Art/DT: where they have been making Greek shields.
- Physical Education: where they have been able to explore traditional Spartan movements.
- Literacy/Drama: where they have used drama techniques to act out the story of Perseus.
- Maths: where they have been able to explore Tangram puzzles.
Students were able to come dressed up as ancient Greeks or bring props related to this theme.
We hope they enjoyed it very much!
