Year 1 pupils took part in a workshop organised by the Nursing Department together with the School’s Psychopedagogical Office, focusing on learning how to act in an emergency situation.
During this activity, the students learned the importance of the 112 emergency telephone number, discovering when to use it, what information is important to communicate and how they can help while waiting for assistance to arrive.
Although they are still very young, various studies show that children under the age of six can learn how to make an emergency call correctly, which is why initiatives such as this are key to promoting their safety and independence from an early age.
