On Tuesday 28th March 2023 Year 10 students attended the performance of a play in Valencia.
The play was “El Lazarillo de Tormes”, (Anonymous), a representative novel of picaresque literature, due to the mischievous and somewhat comical aspect that the characters handle in addition to their witticisms. The oldest known editions date from 1554.
Attending this performance gives them a valuable understanding of the importance of Lazarillo for literature, given that this work is part of the curricular content of Year 10.
