Our Year 6 students enjoyed a very special day celebrating their Topic Day dedicated to Mexico, a country full of history, culture and colour.
Throughout the day, the students took part in different activities designed to introduce them to Mexican traditions and customs in a fun and meaningful way. They enjoyed a delicious tasting of typical food, learned traditional dance steps and did some original Mayan Maths exercises, discovering how the ancient Mayans used mathematics in their daily lives.
The classroom was filled with the colours of the Mexican flag — green, white and red — with children wearing accessories and clothing inspired by this fascinating country.
It was undoubtedly a day full of learning, joy and cultural curiosity, which allowed our students to continue exploring the world from a global and creative perspective.
