Training on early detection of ADHD for our educational team

As part of our commitment to the emotional well-being and ongoing training of our staff, Dr Antonio Galbis, a renowned psychiatrist with over 30 years of professional experience who joined the Group’s Psychopedagogical Department this year, recently gave an online talk to our school staff on the importance of detecting ADHD at an early age for therapeutic treatment.

During the session, Dr Galbis explained how early diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can make a significant difference to students’ academic, social and emotional development, preventing future complications in adolescence or adulthood.

He also shared practical guidance for teachers and the psycho-pedagogical team to identify warning signs (such as difficulty maintaining attention, impulsivity or changes in performance). He emphasised that appropriate and coordinated intervention between school, family and professionals can help maximise each student’s potential.

The Educational Psychology Department and the school management would like to thank Dr Galbis for sharing his knowledge with our team. Thanks to this training, we are better prepared to promote inclusive education that is sensitive and committed to the emotional well-being of our entire community.
