At the BSA Festival we enjoyed a magical afternoon: we entered the World of Oz stepping on a yellow brick road and going through the gate of the Emerald City, accompanied by a choir of voices of Secondary School students that transported us to a world of fantasy created for the occasion.
Throughout the afternoon we were accompanied by Dorothy and her puppy Toto, the Heartless Tin Man, the Courageous Lion and the Brainless Scarecrow, as well as the BSA Choir; A fellow BSA Year 9 violin artist, Diego Gomez, delighted us with a violin solo to the tune of the Wizard of Oz, and BSA Year 4 Martina Martinez sang the same tune “to chapel”; They both gave us goosebumps and gave us the entrance to the Festival, starring the little ones of the school: Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception, Year 1 the Funky girls.
From the Management of the BSA, we want to thank the entire human team that has participated in making this dream possible, and has contributed to creating the Magic that was experienced yesterday at the British School Alzira.

Today at the BSA we have received a visit from Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men with their pages, who have brought us some gifts for all the students from Pre-Nursery to Year 2. Here we show you some of the endearing images that we have enjoyed.

Once upon a time there were three places called BSA, BSX and BSG, places where many of my colleagues had already been but I couldn’t imagine. Every year they told me how wonderful everything that happened there was and those who came back talked about the special people they met. Many of my friends said that a different language was spoken there, Spanish, and that many times they did not understand with words what was planned there but they deciphered it with the smiles drawn on their faces.

This year, I have been there and it has been much better than I expected.

There were kids everywhere in pink bibs, blue bibs, yellow pullovers or navy blue sweatshirts. They all had in their hand something that made a sound, something that they say could change our destiny.

I have seen how they laughed, pointed and reached for us; I have felt many hands rubbing my back, their little fingers turning my pages and their eyes following the drawings with their words.

But among all the students one looked at me and decided not to leave me in those places again and now I am happy having a new home to be.

Today has been a terrifying day! Thank you very much to the parents for your collaboration and involvement. We have had a terrifying time with our colleagues and with the activities that they had prepared for us today. We return them to you “half dead”!
