Cultural trip to Madrid for Year 12 and Year 13 Art students

The Art and Art History students in Year 12 and Year 13 embarked on a cultural trip to Madrid from March 7th-8th, where they had the opportunity to personally view the masterpieces they have been studying throughout Year 12 and 13 in Art and Art History. They also discovered potential future artists who could inspire their work for their A Level projects.

The primary objective of the trip was to visit the three major museums: The Prado Museum, The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, and The Reina Sofía Museum, as well as the obligatory visit to the ARCO Fair (Contemporary Art Fair).

After two intense days, all students were able to closely enjoy the beauty of numerous works of art that left no one indifferent.
