On the 22nd of November the gala presentation of the December Solidarity in favour of AVAF, Asociación de Voluntarios de Acogimiento Familiar (Association of Foster Care Volunteers) was held.
On this occasion it was held at The Westin (Valencia) and included a photocall, interviews and the presentation of the event.
Franc Corbí attended the event on behalf of the British School Alzira-Xàtiva-Gandia Group, which collaborates with this wonderful solidarity initiative.
The AVAF Association is a non-profit organisation, present at a regional level in the Valencian Community. Its mission is to defend children’s rights, promote foster care, accompany and guide foster families, carry out educational and recreational activities for children and adolescents in foster care and in situations of social vulnerability, prevent gender violence in adolescent couples and promote social volunteering as a way of life.
