Learning to appreciate our gastronomy: Mediterranean Gourmet Day

On our gastronomic journey, we have been exploring many different countries and their unique flavours. However, we cannot forget that one of the most famous cuisines in the world is our own. That is why, each month, we dedicate a special day to celebrating and deepening our understanding of Mediterranean Gastronomy.  

The Mediterranean diet is considered one of the healthiest in the world, as it provides essential heart-protective nutrients, with antioxidants being among the most important. Based on the consumption of legumes, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, this diet has gained worldwide recognition for its positive effects on health.  

Today, we enjoyed a delicious Mediterranean menu:  

  • Organic yoghurt
  • Salad with lamb’s lettuce, Valencian tomato, and diced turkey with extra virgin olive oil  
  • Creamy poultry soup with egg, corn, carrot, leek, and potato  
  • Grilled turkey breast with oven-baked aubergine, honey, and sesame
