Each year the OPLAs Awards recognise those Pearson Edexcel learners from around the world who have demonstrated academic excellence at the highest levels in their exams.
The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards (OPLAs) are awarded to those students in each examination series who have achieved the highest mark in their subject in their country, region and worldwide.
This year two British School Alzira students from the last graduating class have received the Pearson Outstanding Pupil Award 2023 for their excellent results in the 2022/2023 examination series:
David Cebolla Ruiz, obtains three awards:
- “Award for Highest mark in Europe” in “International Advanced Level Further Mathematics“,
- “Award for Highest mark in Spain” in “International Advanced Level Mathematics”
- and “Award for Highest mark in the World” in “International Advanced Level Physics“.
Álvaro Añó Tarrasó obtained two awards:
- “Award for Highest mark in Spain” in “International Advanced Level Chemistry”
- and “Award for Highest mark in the World” in “International Advanced Level Psychology“.
Congratulations to both of them for obtaining such impressive results and to all the teaching staff for their work and dedication in helping their students to make it possible!
