Dr. Javier Urra has given our staff a training session on “How to manage the behaviour of pupils in Secondary & 6th Form, a two-way & respectful approach to deal with this age group”

On the 15th of January, all teaching staff, Psychopedagogical Department and Management staff at British School Alzira, Xàtiva & Gandia had the opportunity to attend an internal training workshop given by Dr. Javier Urra at BSA.

With the aim of learning ways to manage the behaviour of Secondary and 6th Form students, as this is a difficult age for them, Dr. Urra provided us with a series of strategies and advice to help them in the best possible way and in a respectful manner, in order to achieve a better coexistence in the classroom and better learning results.

Likewise, as Director of the Department of Emotional and Mental Health of our schools, Dr. Javier Urra met, as happens regularly, with the Psychopedagogical Department and the Management Team with the aim of dealing in more depth and detail with those cases of students who require it.

Listening to Dr. Urra is always an enriching experience, but even more so when he deals with the subject of adolescence. Many thanks to Dr. Urra for his advice, and thanks to all the staff attending this training for their involvement.
