Relaxation workshop for our Year 6 pupils

Year 6 pupils have taken part in a workshop on relaxation and stress management given by the school nurse, in collaboration with the school’s Psychopedagogical Department.

In this workshop, the students learned how to identify and express situations that make them nervous and situations that help them to relax.

There are several contexts that can be a source of stress for a child, such as taking an exam, presenting work in public, getting a bad mark, an argument with a classmate or sibling, being teased, witnessing an argument, etc…

The latest studies carried out in Spain indicate that stress levels are very high in children and adolescents from the age of 8. Therefore, the workshop also aims to provide “tricks” and tools that we share with you to so that you can help your children to continue practising and learning at home.
