This year we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy a traditional British Christmas treat: pantomime!
This is a unique opportunity to see a professional, top class pantomime live in Spain, as direct from the UK, Aladdin, the iconic Christmas pantomime, will be performed for a limited number of days in the incredible Teulada Moraira Auditorium.
Aladdin stars film and TV veteran Frazer Hines (known for his roles in Dr Who and Emmerdale) and Peter Amory, Emmerdale’s famous baddie ‘Chris Tate’.
Frazer Hines, playing a Chinese policeman, does his best to keep Abanazar, Aladdin’s nemesis (played by Peter Amory), on the straight and narrow.
The leads are accompanied by a cast of top British actors, along with professional Spanish dancers.
The performance is written, directed and produced by two of the UK’s leading pantomime stalwarts, with over 400 productions between them.
In addition, pupils will be able to meet a very special guest star: “Dino the Dinosaur”.
This fast-paced show is aimed at all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest, for theatre veterans and for those who are going to enjoy it for the first time.
On the 1st of December we enjoyed a magical day, full of fun, laughter, drama, emotion, popular music, dynamic dances, colourful costumes, songs with spectacular effects and even a magic carpet that really flew… all this together with the invaluable participation of the little ones, who enjoyed this pantomime full of fantasy.
