BSA-BSX-BSG Nursery, Reception and Year 1 students have gone on a trip to the Mas de Xetà Farm School in Llutxent, together with their teachers and specialist monitors. At the Farm they became farmers for a day, enjoying contact with different types of animals, such as chickens, peacocks, rabbits, pigs, geese, goats, etc…
They visited the farm animals, fed them and learned more about them.
They collected eggs from the hens and through a Workshop they discovered where some of the food we eat comes from and which animals provide it.
They visited the horse stables, where they fed and groom the horses and learned interesting facts about them. They also got on a carriage and enjoy a nice ride to observe the landscape and vegetation. They also did workshops related to the activity, one of them, to learn about the means of transport used by farmers, and how they were able to move and transport things from one place to another thanks to the strength of animals.
It has been a wonderful experience for them all, where they have enjoyed every single second surrounded by beautiful and loving animals.
