Nursery & Reception students visited this week the Monumental Nativity Scene of Xàtiva.
Housed in the Albereda de Xàtiva, this Nativity Scene is considered the largest in Spain, occupying more than 1,600 square metres, and has become a Christmas tourist attraction visited by thousands of people every year.
It is characterised by its attention to detail and has grown from 1999 to the present day, where there is not only a nativity scene, but also numerous scenes recreated with life-size figures made by Fallas artists.
This, together with a decoration with natural materials (such as fruit and vegetables), live animals (ducks, sheep, turkeys…) and lighting designed to help appreciate the beauty of this monument, makes it a magical visit for young and old, and our pupils really enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere.
